Associate Professor of Psychology <\/p>\n Dr. Dana R. Murphy of Nipissing University’s Department of Psychology, and Director of the Northern Centre for Research on Aging and Communication (NCRAC) is interested in the cognitive and auditory factors that influence the ways in which older adults understand and remember spoken language.<\/p>\n To conduct his research, Dr. Murphy was awarded an equipment and operating grants in 2002 from the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada (NSERC).
