The following is a list of NORAHT members who are assisting with our work:<\/p>\n

Lanyan Chen, PhD<\/strong> is Professor in Social Welfare and Social Development at Nipissing University.<\/p>\n

Donna Debassige<\/strong>\u00a0is a member of the Chiefs of Ontario First Nations Women\u2019s Caucus, Chiefs of Ontario Data Governance Committee, the\u00a0Anishinabek Nation Women’s Council-Lake Huron Region, Manitoulin Aboriginal Research Review Committee-Noojmowin Teg Health Centre, and the Elders Advisory Council-Indigenous Justice Division.\u00a0 Donna is the Elder for the NORAHT project.<\/p>\n

Kathleen Jodouin, MHS, BA (Hons)<\/strong> is the Executive Director of Victim Services of Nipissing District.<\/p>\n

Rosemary Nagy, PhD<\/strong> is Associate Professor in Gender Equality and Social Justice at Nipissing University.\u00a0 Rosemary is the Co-Director of NORAHT.<\/p>\n

Brenda Quenneville, MSW, RSW <\/strong>is a masters-level social worker and an independent research consultant.\u00a0 She provides individual and group counselling to people with lived experience of various traumas, trauma-focused clinical supervision to social workers and psychotherapists through her private practice: Centered Fire Counselling and Consulting. <\/a>Brenda is the Co-Director of NORAHT.<\/p>\n

Gina Snooks<\/strong> is a doctoral student in Women\u2019s Studies and Feminist Research at Western University.\u00a0 Gina is a research assistant with the project.<\/p>\n

Rebecca Timms <\/strong>is\u00a0the Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls Coordinator at the Union of Ontario Indians.<\/p>\n

We also thank\u00a0Megan Bellefeuille-Stevens,<\/strong> a Psychology graduate from Nipissing University and a member of Nipissing First Nation, for her research assistance in 2016-2017. We also thank Jylelle Carpenter-Boesch\u00a0<\/em><\/strong>who completed a double major in English and Gender Equality and Social Justice at Nipissing University in 2018.\u00a0 Jylelle was a research assistant with the project and Sydnee Wiggins<\/strong> who is completing an honours specialization in Gender Equality and Social Justice at Nipissing University. Sydnee is our current research assistant with the project and has been working with the project since 2018. We also thank Serena Kataoka, PhD, <\/strong>Assistant Professor in Political Science and Social Welfare and Social Development at Nipissing University, for her valuable contributions in the early stages of our formation as well as during our first workshop.<\/p>\n
